The Identity Verification Journey:

  • Initiation & Consent: The signer receives a secure link via SMS or email to access a document and agrees to participate in a biometric verification process.
  • Face Capture & Liveness: The system triggers the camera to capture a live selfie to perform liveness detection and biometric analysis (face-to-ID matching) to ensure the user is real and physically present.
  • ID Document Capture: The user is guided to capture their ID document. The Document Reader SDK automatically extracts data, validates the document’s authenticity, and validates the user’s ID
  • Biometric Matching: The backend performs a real-time comparison between the live selfie and the ID document photo. In parallel, the personal ID number is validated against the system’s records. The system returns a “match” or “no match” result based on the biometric data.
  • Verification Result: Only upon a successful biometric match and document validation is the user confirmed as the identity holder, granting access to the relevant service or application.

Management & Operational Control: The solution provides organizations with total control over the identity verification perimeter. Through the administrative interface, users can define which workflows require biometric validation and customize the verification parameters (e.g., front-only or double-sided ID capture). The system’s detailed logging ensures that every verification attempt is documented, protecting the organization against identity fraud and impersonation while maintaining a frictionless user experience.
